I will meet Lawrence Bishnoi in November, reveals Salman Khan's former girlfriend

Amid the ongoing clash between Salman Khan and gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Bollywood superstar's former girlfriend, Somy Ali, has revealed that she will meet the gangster in coming month, November.

"All I want is that no one gets murdered. I have no benefit from this. I don't want any publicity. But I don't want anyone to get murdered. Whoever is my neighbour, whoever is someone's friend, no one should get murdered. No one should harm anyone. I am against violence. I have gone on many hunting trips with Salman. I will meet Lawrence Bishnoi in November," said Ali in an interview with AajTak.

1998 poaching case:

Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi tussle was revived again with the recent murder of Baba Siddique, shedding light on the unresolved poaching cases against Khan from 1998. The latest death threat against Khan is a continuation of similar threats made by Lawrence since 2018.


The initial threat was issued three months prior to Khan's sentencing on April 5, 2018, for allegedly poaching black bucks in Kankani village near Jodhpur.

Lawrence was brought to Jodhpur from Faridkot jail in Punjab in connection with a shooting incident involving a doctor and a travel company owner on March 17, 2017. This shooting was seen as part of Lawrence's extortion efforts in Jodhpur, marking his entry into Rajasthan. Subsequently, Lawrence's associates murdered Vasudev Israni, the owner of an electronic showroom, after he resisted their threats.

Speaking to the media in police presence while being escorted to court, Lawrence had declared, "I was in student politics and not in the crime. Police purposefully declared me a criminal by naming me in several cases. I have not done anything till now but will do now and kill Salman Khan here in Jodhpur itself."

Since that time, the superstar has been on the receiving end of threats from Lawrence and his associates. There have even been attempts on Khan's life in Mumbai allegedly by Lawrence's gang members.

The threats from Lawrence delayed pending poaching and arms Act cases against Khan. During a September 1999 hearing regarding Khan's appeal against his April 2018 sentence, his lawyer requested an exemption for Khan from appearing in court due to these life threats.
