'I Have Electric Dreams' wins Best Film at IFFI 2022

The 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) awards were revealed on Monday during the ending ceremony. The Golden Peacock award went to the Spanish coming-of-age movie I Have Electric Dreams, while top acting honors went to Daniela Marin Navarro and Vahid Mobasheri.

During the ending ceremony, Anurag Thakur, the Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, said IFFI not only entertained but also educated us," remarked. IFFI sharpened our senses. IFFI introduced a multifaceted world of cinema to young and old viewers from around the area."

• Special Mention for a Director's Debut Feature Film - Praveen Kandregula's Cinema Bandi
• Payam Eskandar's Nargesi receives the ICFT UNESCO Gandhi Medal.
• Chiranjeevi is the Indian Film Personality of the Year.
