Hyderabad cab driver's warning note 'No romance. This is a cab, not Oyo' sparks laughter online
A warning note in a Hyderabad cab telling couples to maintain distance has gone viral. Garnering over 80,000 views, the note humorously tells passengers to keep calm and refrain from showing intimacy. Similar trends are seen in major Indian cities...

Originally shared by an X user called "Venkatesh," it was shared by a Hyderabad stories account called "Hi Hyderabad," where it went viral.
Posted on Sunday, it fetched 85,000 views within two days and and triggered a flurry of hilarious reactions from netizens. "An ethical and essential message for cab passengers," one X user posted back on the viral thread. "Damn. Saw these in Bangalore and Delhi. Didn't expect this in Hyderabad so soon," said another; while another netizen jibed, “No romance, it's ok... keep distance.” Meanwhile, another user, tagged Oyo Rooms and wrote, "Got an innovative advt."
The post from Hyderabad, however, seems to be a part of a picking trend as such warning notes in cabs are cropping up in taxis across major cities in India. Just days before this post went viral, another one from Bengaluru attracted much attention and laughs.
The Bengaluru cab driver's notice went a step further and gave six pointers of behaviour for passengers to follow. Among the six pointers, some said, "You are not the owner of the cab," "The person driving the cab is the owner of the cab," and "Don't call us bhaiya." The note also advised passengers to speak politely and with respect and to be gentle while closing the car door. However, it also advised passengers to not be cocky - "Put your attitude in your pocket. Please don't show us attitude because you are not giving us extra money for it," it said.
