Where is the Methuselah tree located?

The forest is open to visitors and includes the Methuselah Grove, where ancient bristlecone pines can be seen. However, the exact location and appearance of Methuselah are kept secret by the US Forest Service.

There is no sign saying “this is Methuselah”, and visitors are not given directions to the specific tree.
