HPU B.Ed 2022 results now online. Here's how to view them

The Himachal Pradesh University(HPU) announced the HP B.Ed. Results for the entrance examinations on its official website-hpushimla. in on June 7. However, the result announcement was not followed by an official notification that was released by the authorities. The Himachal Pradesh University conducted the initial entrance examination on May 27, 2022, at various locations in the state and results were expected by 12 PM today.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The result has been released in the form of a PDF file, in which candidates must use the registration number or roll number to check the results. The university has already announced the minimum qualifying percentage for the unreserved and reserved categories. The minimum qualifying marks for all categories are as follows:

If in a case, two candidates score the same marks in the HPU BEd exam, the authorities will decide on the worthy candidate after considering tie-breaking criteria. The tie-breaking criteria for choosing the most meritorious candidate are as follows:

1) Marks obtained in the Teaching Aptitude & Attitude section

2) Marks secured in Comprehension and Language in Hindi and English


3) Marks obtained in General Awareness (Majorly Himachal Pradesh & India)

4) Marks secured in logical reasoning

5) The age of the contender is regarded, and the senior candidate is favoured


The universities are expected to arrange counselling for passed candidates after releasing the HPU BEd result. The university will ask the candidates to provide all the necessary documents for the authorities to cross-check them. These documents include:

1. HPU B.Ed Application form
2. Counselling Letter
3. Marksheets and Certificates
4. Caste Certificate5. Candidate’s picture

6. PWD Certificate


To download the HPU B.Ed. the result, the candidates must follow these simple steps:


Step 1. Open the official website - www.hpushimla.in.

Step 2: Click on the homepage of Himachal Pradesh University (HPU).

Step 3: Search for the B.Ed Entrance Result 2022 link and click on it.

Step 4: Click on the login webpage.

Step 5: Submit your Login Credentials particulars, both User ID & Password.

Step 6: Then press the login option, and your HPU B.ed Entrance Result will be displayed on

the screen.

Step 7: Download it and take a printout for future reference.
