Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday experienced several uses of 5G technology firsthand while inaugurating the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022 exhibition at Pragati Maidan in Delhi.
One of the applications he tried out after inaugurating the IMC 2022 was driving a 5G-enabled remote car set up inside the booth of the Swedish telecommunication giant Ericsson.
Using a 5G-enabled solution, PM Modi took the controls of the car in Sweden by getting behind the steering wheel set up inside the Ericsson booth at the IMC 2022 exhibition.
With the controls in Delhi connected to the model using 5G technology, Modi navigated an indoor course in Sweden.

At the Jio Pavilion, PM Modi looked at the 'True 5G' devices and spent time understanding the indigenous development of end-to-end 5G technology by a team of Jio engineers.
He was flanked by Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and billionaires Mukesh Ambani of Reliance, Sunil Bharti Mittal of Bharti Airtel and Kumar Mangalam Birla of Vodafone Idea. He thereafter visited stalls of Airtel, Vodafone Idea, C-DOT and others.
