Honda, the best selling scooter of India is all set to release its new model of Activa 6G on January 23, the leaked RTO document suggests.

The document further reveals the name of the new model to be ‘Honda Activa Smart’. The company boasts its new variant calling it ‘H-smart’ on their save the date invite. It looks like honda is working on making a smart activa, aimed at decreasing carbon footprint and increasing the efficiency.

The leaked document also shows that the weight of the Honda smart variant will be 279 kg, which will be 1kg less than other Honda Activa 6g variants. Compared to the Activa 6G's current iterations, the power output is slightly higher at 7.74bhp while keeping the 109.51cc engine the same. With a 1260 mm wheelbase, it will have dimensions of 1833 mm in length, 697 mm in width, and 1156 mm in height.


The RTO document suggests that a new anti-theft feature will be introduced in this two-wheeler, which was only used in big motor vehicles. The Honda Activa Smart might be the first of many Japanese company products to feature this safety technology. This proud upcoming model of Honda will be priced higher than the other Honda Activas which is currently priced around Rs 73,662. The new technology and updates could demand Rs 3,000 more than the other variant’s standard price.

Honda is working on launching Honda PCX160, Honda Activa 7G and 2021 Honda CB1000R, at an estimated price of Rs 1.20 Lakh, Rs 79,000, Rs 14.46 Lakh respectively.
