Hollywood director Daniel Kwan stunned after watching RRR

S S Rajamouli's blockbuster hit, 'RRR' got rave reviews from everywhere, and Hollywood is no different. Recently, Daniel Kwan, the director of Everything Everywhere All at Once, applauded RRR and said that it looks like SS Rajamouli poured all his heart into the sleeve of the film, with sincerity wrapped up in ridiculous, over-the-top execution.

"After a busy year of work and travelling I’ve finally checked a couple things off my list 1) finished my taxes (I know the irony) and 2) watched RRR. HOLY COW ya’ll weren’t kidding. Anytime I watch an Indian action film I feel like I’m working in the wrong country," Kwan tweeted.

"What really struck me is, while a lot of the blockbusters we’re making in the states tend to have self aware, cheeky characters trapped in self-serious filmmaking, RRR was all heart-on-its-sleeve sincerity wrapped up in the most ridiculous over the top execution. So much to love," he further added.


As expected, Daniel Kwan's tweets on RRR soon sparked a meme fest.

Reacting to Kwan's tweet, a person made a collage of EEAO’s scene of Michelle Yeoh sitting on a person’s shoulder and Ram Charan sitting on Jr NTR’s shoulder in RRR. The person wrote in the caption that these are the best films of 2022. Daniel Kwan replied that the scene from RRR might be better.

Another meme showed a couple in a bed with the husband lost in thought and the wife feeling he’s thinking about another woman, a fan made it as if the man is thinking of the Natu Natu song. Daniel Kwan responded that he and his wife also thought about it in bed.
