4. Use a mixture of water and cow dung for cleaning purposes.

8. Observe Satyanarayan Fast as Purnima Vrat coincides with this day, offering prayers to Lord Vishnu with utmost devotion and purity.

Don'ts:

1. Avoid using plastic, tires, or any non-biodegradable materials for the bonfire.
2. Refrain from lending money on this day.
3. Maintain polite behavior towards others, avoiding rudeness.
