— Hero MotoCorp (@HeroMotoCorp) 1664957695000As per reports, the Vida electric scooter will get a swappable battery pack, that has been developed in partnership with Gogoro, a Taiwan-based company which has an expertise in swappable battery tech. Hero MotoCorp has joined hands with Ather Energy which could offer its charging network and equipment.
Hero Motocorp has also partnered with Bharat Petroleum for setting up fast charging and battery swapping stations across India.
However, the company has not revealed the price yet, but the Hero Vida electric scooter is expected to be positioned at a pricing point of around Rs 1 lakh. This will put it in direct competition with the Ola's S1 as well as the Bajaj Chetak, Ather 450X and TVS iQube.
In terms of range and speed it is expected to be a high-speed scooter with speeds in excess of 50 km/h and a range of about 100+ km in a single charge.
