Here's how you can get passenger's name, boarding station changed in railway e-ticket
If you have a confirmed railway e-ticket and you want to change a passenger's name, you can do so by visiting the nearest railway reservation counter, 24 hours before the departure time of your train.

According to the guidelines published on IRCTC's (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) official website, a person first needs to visit the railway reservation office with a printout of the confirmed e-ticket and an original photo identity proof to get the name changed. The railway reservation counters are authorised to make changes in the e-tickets.
However, this can only be done 24 hours prior to the departure time of the train as no application will not be entertained after that.
The request for any kind of change in the e-ticket must be made through a written application, which should be submitted to the reservation counter within the stipulated time.
Besides the change in name, a passenger can also get the boarding station changed in the ticket.
Additionally, an e-ticket can also be transferred to any other family member of the passenger. Here, the list of family members includes the mother, father, sister, brother, daughter, son, husband, and wife. While transferring the ticket, a passenger will have to submit a document to prove that they share a blood relation with the new passenger. Failure to do so can lead to the cancellation of the transfer of an e-ticket from one person to another.
