Australia's captain, Pat Cummins, made history by becoming one of the most expensive player in Indian Premier League (IPL) auction 2024. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) secured his services for a whopping Rs 20.50 crore at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai. This news prompted a playful exchange between cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle and SRH on Twitter. Bhogle humorously inquired about real estate prices in Sydney following Cummins' lucrative deal. SRH responded in jest, stating uncertainty about Sydney but suggesting that Banjara Hills is reputed to be quite lovely.

In a tweet, Harsha Bhogle asked "What are the real estate prices looking like in Sydney?"

To which the SRH replied, "Not sure about Sydney, but we hear Banjara hills is quite lovely though."

Additionally, Australian opener Travis Head, known for his recent standout performances, joined Sunrisers Hyderabad for a significant sum of 6.8 crore after a heated bidding battle between Chennai Super Kings and SRH.
