In the Canterbury ODI, India bundled out England for 245 in 44.5 overs and won the match by 88 runs. Medium pacer Renuka Singh (4/57) claimed four wickets. Danni Wyatt's 58-ball 65 was the lone bright spot in an otherwise dismal show by England batters. England's chase fell apart after Renuka sent back Wyatt in the 30th over.
The last time Indian women won an ODI series in England was in 1999 when they triumphed 2-1.
