It emphasizes the commitment to inclusive casting, stating, "We are committed to inclusive, diverse casting. For every role, please submit qualified performers, without regard to ethnicity, sex, disability, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other basis protected by law unless otherwise specifically indicated."
Interested actors need to submit two self-taped videos. The first video should be a short poem or story not related to 'Harry Potter,' lasting no more than 30 seconds. The second video, which should be one minute long, should introduce the applicant, including their date of birth, height, and location, and describe a close family member, friend, or pet.
The submission deadline is October 31. Filming will take place in the UK between 2025 and 2026. The series will consist of seven seasons, with each season covering one of the 'Harry Potter' books. The release date has not been announced yet.
