Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan 2.0’ commences: Tricolour available at post offices and online at Rs 25

As part of Har Ghar Tirangan Abhiyan 2.0, the government has announced that citizens can buy national flag from their nearest post office for a nominal cost of Rs 25, like last year. This initiative aims to promote patriotism and national pride among citizens.

To make the process more accessible, individuals can also order the tricolour online through the official website www.epostoffice.gov.in. People can place order flags by entering the mobile number and a one-time password. During the order placement, essential details such as name, address, mobile number, and the number of flags required will be required. Each user can order a maximum of 5 flags, ensuring widespread availability for everyone.

To achieve this, the post offices are setting up selfie points featuring photographs of postal tickets and philately frames. This creative approach aims to encourage people to take pictures with the tricolour and share their patriotic spirit with friends and family.


The government has launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan 2.0’ after the staggering success of the previous year when approximately 13 lakh tricolours were sold. The campaign not only provides an opportunity for citizens to display their love for the country but also supports the postal department in fulfilling their social responsibility.
