Govinda, Bollywood superstar of the 1990's, turns 59 today, on 21 December 2022.

The actor, who is well-known for his comic timing and dance prowess, has been one of Bollywood's most recognisable faces for more than three decades.

Govinda, who has now appeared in more than 165 movies, made his film debut in 1986 with director Shibu Mitra's "Ilzaam." The movie was a commercial success and assisted Govinda in establishing himself. Govinda went on to star in a number of box office hits over the course of his career.


On the occasion of Govinda's 59th birthday, here are 4 of his flicks that you really must watch:

Coolie No 1:
Govinda and Karisma were in David Dhawan's "Coolie No,". The movie, which was one of Karisma Kapoor's first great successes, was recently remade with Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan playing the lead characters.

Hero No 1:
The major actors in the 1997 film "Hero No. 1" were Govinda and Karisma Kapoor. The movie was wholesome entertainment and ended up becoming one of the highest-grossing movies of the year.

Dulhe Raja:
The movie "Dulhe Raja," which starred Govinda, Raveena Tandon, Kader Khan, Johnny Lever, Prem Chopra, and Asrani, was extremely well-liked. Ankhiyon Se Goli Maare, one of its songs, set the door for a whole movie bearing the same name.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan:
