-On the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, devotees wake up early, take a holy bath, and perform puja at home by placing an idol of Lord Hanuman on a wooden plank.-A diya is lit using desi ghee or sesame oil, and the idol is adorned with flowers and garlands. Homemade bhog prasad is offered with devotion.
A large number of devotees visit Hanuman temples, which are beautifully decorated with flowers and lights, to offer prayers. Many organise Akhand Ramayana Path and Sundar Kand Path to seek blessings of Lord Rama and Hanuman.
-Devotees also perform charitable acts like setting up food and water stalls to help the needy, which is considered highly meritorious. In temples, Hanuman ji is adorned with new clothes, garlands, and decorative offerings.
-Hanuman Jayanti holds special significance for people involved in sports, wrestling, and martial arts, who worship Hanuman ji as their Guru and seek strength, courage, protection, and fearlessness from him.
