Actor Hansika Motwani and her husband Sohael Khaturiya have once again stirred up divorce rumours, with fans noticing that several photos and videos of Sohael from their wedding are no longer visible on Hansika’s Instagram account. Although the couple has not made any public statement, this move has intensified speculation about trouble in their marriage.

Hansika Deletes Wedding Content Amid Split Speculation

Hansika and Sohael tied the knot in December 2022 at the Mundota Fort and Palace in Jaipur in a lavish multi-day celebration. The wedding festivities included a Mata Ki Chowki in Mumbai, a bachelorette party in Greece, and a series of themed pre-wedding events like a white party, Sufi night, mehendi, haldi, and a casino-themed after-party. Now, many of those wedding posts appear to have been deleted from Hansika’s Instagram.

Report: Couple Living Separately

According to Hindustan Times, Hansika has reportedly moved back in with her mother, adding fuel to the ongoing rumours. The report quoted a source saying, “Hansika has moved in with her mother, while Sohael is staying with his parents.” It added, “When the couple got married in December 2022, they initially moved in with Sohael’s family. However, adjusting with a big family was an issue. So, they shifted into a condo in the same building. But it seems the problems have persisted.”


Adding to the speculation, Sohael has made his Instagram profile private, and the couple remains publicly silent on the matter.

Hansika and Sohael’s wedding was featured in a reality TV series titled “Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama” on JioHotstar, giving fans a glimpse into their relationship and grand celebration.

Before his marriage to Hansika, Sohael was previously married to Rinky Bajaj, who was reportedly Hansika’s best friend. Both Hansika and Sohael clarified on their show that they had known each other for years, as Sohael was a longtime friend of her brother.

Sohael proposed to Hansika under the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and the couple kept their relationship private until officially announcing their engagement on social media.
