Guwahati airport is epic: Russian influencer lauds its bamboo and orchid-inspired design, says it is among the best she has seen

A Russian travel influencer has lauded Guwahati's Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, calling its new integrated terminal one of the top three most impressive airports she has ever visited. Marina Kharbani, who goes by @terk_love on Instagram, shared her reaction after touring the terminal, drawing attention to its design on social media.

In her video, Marina said, "How epic Guwahati Airport is. I've been in so many airports, and for now it definitely would be in the top three, the epic, the most epic one." Her appreciation centred on the terminal's distinctive bamboo and orchid-inspired architecture, which draws on elements associated with Assam and the Northeast rather than following a conventional airport layout.

Marina's video comes at a time when the terminal has already earned international recognition, having been named among the World's Most Beautiful Airports 2026. Her comments added another international voice to the appreciation surrounding the terminal's architecture and visual appeal.
