The tragedy came to light when the deceased, identified as Rohit Lal, failed to respond to calls or open his door. His co-worker, who usually accompanied him to the office, grew concerned and informed the police. Sector 53 Station House Officer (SHO) Satender Rawal told PTI, "We sent viscera and the recovered medicines to FSL for testing. The exact cause of death will be revealed only after the viscera report is received.
