Gurugram–Faridabad–Noida–Greater Noida Namo Bharat RRTS final alignment cleared
Saini told the Assembly that the final alignment was approved in a meeting held on Tuesday. The Detailed Project Report (DPR) is now being finalised, and directions have been issued to the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) to take the project forward.He said the project aligns with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi under the “Namo Bharat” initiative to connect economic centres through fast, safe and modern transit systems.
A 64-km corridor linking Gurugram, Faridabad and Noida
The proposed corridor will stretch about 64 km, of which nearly 52 km lies in Haryana. The government sees it not just as a rail line but as a regional mobility network connecting key business and residential clusters across NCR.Saini said it will “offer seamless and high-speed travel to lakhs of commuters, significantly reduce traffic congestion, and contribute positively to environmental sustainability.”
Gurugram stretch: 14.5 km with key city interchanges
In Gurugram, an integrated RRTS and Metro section of around 14.5 km has been approved between IFFCO Chowk and Gwal Pahari.Key stations in Gurugram include:
- Sector-29
- Millennium City Centre
- Sector-52
- Wazirabad
- Sector-57
- Sector-58/61
Faridabad stretch: 16 km linking NIT and New Faridabad
In Faridabad, an integrated section of around 16 km will run from Sainik Colony to Badshahpur.Key areas covered include:
- NIT region
- Bata Chowk
- Sectors 12 to 15
Key parts of New Faridabad
This stretch will link with the Delhi Metro Violet Line, strengthening connections for both industry and residential areas.Designed for future growth, with focus on environment
The Chief Minister said the project is being designed to meet future mobility demand as population and traffic pressure rise in cities like Gurugram and Faridabad.
Noise barriers will be installed on viaducts in urban areas to reduce sound pollution and protect residents’ quality of life, he added.
He said the corridor will also “open new avenues for investment, employment generation, and balanced urban growth in Haryana.”
This corridor is designed as an interchange-heavy connector, meaning it links with both Metro and RRTS lines:

- Gurugram Metro corridor
- Rapid Metro
In Faridabad
Interchange with:- Delhi Metro Violet Line
In Noida / Greater Noida
It will connect with:- Noida Metro Aqua Line
- Future RRTS links toward Ghaziabad/Jewar Airport
