Gumraah, which is a remake of the popular 2019 Tamil movie Thadam, failed to make a strong impression on audiences and received mediocre reviews from critics. In contrast, Mrunal Thakur returns to the screen following her widely praised performance in Sita Ramam.

She expressed her interest in playing a police officer, which has been on her wishlist for some time.
