Gumraah Box Office Collection Day 1: Aditya Roy Kapur-Mrunal Thakur starrer earns Rs 1.5 crore
Gumraah was released in cinemas, featuring notable actors such as Aditya Roy Kapur, Mrunal Thakur, and Ronit Roy in leading roles, among others. The movie is a remake of Thadam, a Tamil film that was released in 2019.

As per early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk, Gumraah managed to earn around Rs 1.5 crore on Friday with an occupancy rate of 11.25% in the Hindi-speaking market. However, the film had to face stiff competition from the already released movies Nani's Dasara and Ajay Devgn's Bholaa, which were performing well at the box office. On the ninth day after their release, Bholaa earned an estimated Rs 3 crore, and Dasara did a business of around Rs 2.25 crore.
This year has seen three Hindi films adapted from south Indian cinema, including Gumraah, all of which have failed to impress at the box office. Kartik Aaryan's Shehzada, a remake of the Telugu movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, also underperformed, managing to earn just Rs 32.20 crore during its run. Selfiee, which is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam film Driving License, suffered a comparable fate and was able to generate only Rs 16.85 crore in revenue during its theatrical run.
