Gujarat Titans wish Shubman Gill all the best, tell people to keep guessing

A cryptic Twitter exchange between IPL champions Gujarat Titans and their star opener Shubman Gill has sparked social media speculation that he is leaving the franchise.
It started with the Gujarat Titans official handle abruptly tweeting this on Saturday evening: "It’s been a journey to remember. We wish you all the best for your next endeavour, @ShubmanGill."
The post was hashtagged Aava De, the clarion call in the team's anthem. None can be faulted for taking that as a goodbye tweet. Gill responded with a hug and heart emoji.
It’s been a journey to remember. We wish you all the best for your next endeavour, @ShubmanGill!#AavaDe
— Gujarat Titans (@gujarat_titans) 1663410436000This immediately started a buzz about the team letting him go ahead of the next edition of the IPL. There was also speculation on where he would join, a likely destination suggested being the Chennai Super Kings where Robin Uthappa has just retired. Another suggestion was KKR, Gill's former team.
As the suspense mounted, Gujarat Titans came out with yet another tweet three hours later saying they were loving all the drama.
Twitterverse, Gill will always be a part of our P.S.: It’s not what you think, but we’re loving the theories. Keep it going!
— Gujarat Titans (@gujarat_titans) 1663419514000Gill had a nice run in the last IPL, and was one of the players instrumental for the Titans winning the trophy in their maiden season.
He scored 483 runs in 16 matches with a batting average of 34.50 and a strike rate of over 132. There were four fifties this time, including a 96. In the low-scoring final against Rajasthan Royals, he ensured his team stayed on course with an unbeaten 45.
So it wouldn't normally make much cricketing sense for the franchise to let him go at this point, said some, suggesting that the admin was just having some fun at their expense.
'All these just to say " Account got hacked",' commented a user.
