Are schools and colleges closed in Gujarat tomorrow?
Yes, but only in some districts. As per reports, educational institutions, including primary, secondary and higher secondary schools, as well as Anganwadi centres, will remain closed on Friday, July 24, as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students and staff in the following districts:- Vadodara
- Ahmedabad
- Surat
- Gandhinagar
- Bharuch
- Aravalli
- Dahod
- Narmada

In view of the IMD's heavy rainfall warning, authorities have announced the closure of educational institutions in the following districts on Friday, July 24:- Vadodara: Primary, secondary and higher secondary schools, colleges and Anganwadi centres will remain closed.
- Ahmedabad: Primary, secondary and higher secondary schools, colleges and Anganwadi centres will remain closed.
- Surat: Primary, secondary and higher secondary schools, colleges and Anganwadi centres will remain closed.
- Gandhinagar: Primary, secondary and higher secondary schools, colleges and Anganwadi centres will remain closed.
- Bharuch: Primary, secondary and higher secondary schools, colleges and Anganwadi centres will remain closed.

Heavy rain has caused widespread disruption across Gujarat, particularly in the southern districts.According to PTI, around 1,200 people have been rescued from rain-hit areas, while one rain-related death was reported in Tapi district.
