Titled “GTA 6: An Extended Leek”, the video has prompted fans to warn others about potential spoilers. GTA 6 leaker returns
Cyberleek had appeared to go inactive following a series of high-profile GTA 6 leaks in August. Those disclosures prompted an investigation by Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar Games’ parent company, with subpoenas reportedly issued to platforms including Discord. The latest release raises fresh questions about how the footage, or the game build from which it was taken, was obtained despite Rockstar’s tight security. It also remains unclear whether Cyberleek is an individual or a group, and how the material was accessed.
Leaked footage may show developer tools
One portion of the video appears to feature a developer menu being used to spawn a tank, an action that may not be available in the publicly released version of GTA 6.The footage could therefore contain features enabled through development tools rather than content intended for ordinary players. The apparent first-person driving perspective and nudity may also have been activated specifically for the leaked video. Their presence does not establish that these options will be available in the final release.
Rockstar had called earlier leaks ‘heartbreaking’
In August, Rockstar publicly addressed the earlier leaks, describing the situation as “heartbreaking” for its development team and “unfortunate” for fans. The company acknowledged that spoilers could affect the experience it had planned for players, while reaffirming GTA 6’s previously announced release date of November 19.The latest footage has renewed concerns about spoilers emerging before the game’s launch, although the full extent and authenticity of the material have not been independently established in the supplied report.
Cyberleek links leaks to a separate project
Cyberleek had previously said the leaks were intended to draw attention to the decline of physical media and its implications for game ownership. The leaker also charged fans to vote on potential future disclosures using cryptocurrency, a move widely viewed as a possible money-making exercise. The newly released video ends with another message seeking financial support for a project that Cyberleek says is unrelated to Rockstar but connected to gaming.
The message describes a venture requiring expensive hardware, months of preparation and years of full-time work. It also acknowledges that people may doubt the identity and intentions of the person behind the leaks.
“What is collected goes to the project,” the message states, adding that the amount raised would determine what could be accomplished. Cyberleek offered no further clarity in the message about the project’s precise nature or objectives.
