The C3 hatchback sees the steepest cuts at the entry level, with prices dropping up to ₹84,000, now starting at ₹4.80 lakh, making it one of the most affordable options in its segment. The newly launched Basalt and Basalt X, featuring Citroën’s CARA in-car assistant, now start at ₹7.95 lakh, enhancing their competitiveness in the midsize SUV market.
For larger family vehicles, the 5- and 7-seater Aircross SUVs get reductions of up to ₹50,000, while the C5 Aircross Shine receives the biggest benefit, with savings of nearly ₹2.7 lakh, bringing its ex-showroom price to ₹37.32 lakh. Bookings at the new prices are already open, allowing buyers to take advantage of the discounts ahead of deliveries after September 22.
The lower pricing makes the entry-level C3 more appealing compared to hatchbacks and compact sedans from Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, and Tata Motors, offering more features at a competitive price. The Basalt and Aircross midsize SUVs now present a stronger value proposition against rivals like the Tata Curvv, Kia Seltos, and Hyundai Creta, with starting prices under ₹8 lakh.
At the premium end, the significant price cut on the C5 Aircross positions Citroën as a cost-effective alternative in the luxury SUV segment, appealing to buyers seeking a well-equipped, large SUV without competing with higher-priced German models.
