'Gravity eater', 'Quantum hunter': Elon Musk feels these could be job titles in future

"Gravity eater", "Quantum hunter", "Glitch dreamer", "Void deer" and "Boson cutter" are some of the job titles that will exist in the future, predicts Elon Musk . His Twitter post has been viewed over 3 million times in just one hour. He posted an image titled ‘Jobs in the future’ but the title of the sixth image was missing.

As always, Musk’s tweet attracted many responses from users. Elon Musk has nearly 132 million followers on Twitter.

"Can't wait to see what other cool titles the future holds," wrote an user.


Another user said: "Will jobs still exist in 2025?".

Another user replied: "I think it's not much of a stretch to say software jobs are going to go first. many backends are basically the same components arranged in different ways. I'll be surprised if AI isn't doing the heavy lifting here within 2 years."

"AI will take all jobs," said another.

These users could be referring to the job cuts at Twitter after Elon Musk took over the company or the fear that AI tools will make many jobs redundant.

Musk was one of the co-founders of OpenAI, the ChatGPT creator, along with Sam Altman. But the billionaire left the startup's board in 2018 to avoid a conflict of interest between OpenAI's work and the AI research being done by Telsa Inc - the electric-vehicle maker he leads.

Musk has expressed concerns about the future of AI and batted for a regulatory authority to ensure development of the technology serves public interest. "It's quite a dangerous technology. I fear I may have done some things to accelerate it," he said towards the end of Tesla Inc's Investor Day event earlier this month.

"Tesla's doing good things in AI, I don't know, this one stresses me out, not sure what more to say about it."
