The observance of Gowri Habba involves several key rituals:

  3. An idol of Goddess Gauri is placed, and a lamp is lit to illuminate the idol, which is beautifully decorated with shringar items and flowers.
  4. Devotees offer bhog prasad, including sweets and sacred food offerings.
  5. Women recite Katha (narratives) and chant the Aarti (devotional songs) dedicated to Gauri Mata.
  6. After completing all the puja rituals, fasting women break their fast by consuming fruits, dry fruits, milk products, and other sattvik (pure) food items.
