Govinda health update: Bollywood icon hospitalised after fainting at home; Under observation in Mumbai

Bollywood actor Govinda has been admitted to CritiCare Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai, after he fainted at his home around midnight, his legal advisor and close friend Lalit Bindal confirmed, as reported by PTI.

What happened to Govinda?

According to Lalit Bindal, the 61-year-old actor suddenly fainted at home on Monday night and was immediately taken to CritiCare Hospital for medical assistance.


“He fainted in the evening and called me. I brought him to CritiCare Hospital. He is under observation and undergoing tests,” Bindal told PTI.

The doctors are currently conducting several tests to determine the cause of his sudden disorientation and loss of consciousness.

Lalit Bindal shares update on social media

Lalit Bindal also took to Instagram to inform fans about the actor’s health and to request prayers for his recovery.

“My dear and respected @govinda_herono1 has been admitted in hospital with complaints of disorientation and unconsciousness. I pray for his speedy recovery,” he posted.

Govinda’s current condition

PTI sources at the hospital have stated that Govinda is stable and under observation, while further reports on his health are awaited. The actor’s family has not yet released an official statement regarding his condition.
