Gopal Khemka shooting video: Watch how bike-borne attacker fired at Patna businessman outside his home & fled in seconds

CCTV footage has emerged showing the moment when Bihar businessman Gopal Khemka was shot dead outside his residence in Patna late Friday night. The video confirms that the assailant arrived on a motorcycle, waited near the apartment gate, and fired at close range as Khemka stepped out of his car.

The shooter fled the scene immediately after firing a single shot. The video is now being examined by investigators as part of the ongoing murder probe.

Footage reveals sequence of attack

The CCTV clip, recorded from a camera installed near the building, shows a motorcycle approaching slowly as Khemka's car pulls up near the gate. As he opens the car door, a man on the pillion seat fires at him and the bike speeds away from the scene.


Police officials said the video confirms that the killing was carried out in a targeted and planned manner.

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) is leading the probe under the supervision of the City SP. The Special Task Force (STF) is also assisting in identifying the accused. Officials have recovered spent bullets from the spot and are matching them with forensic findings.

City SP (Central) Diksha Kumari earlier said, “Khemka received one gunshot injury. We have recovered spent bullets from the crime scene, and CCTV footage from the area is being reviewed for clues.”

Khemka’s family has demanded immediate arrests. His brother, Shankar Khemka, earlier alleged that police response was delayed and linked the case to a similar attack on Gopal’s son Gunjan in 2018, which remains unsolved.

Gopal Khemka was a well-known businessman in Patna. He owned Magadh Hospital and was a director of Bankipore Club. He had started his career with a small medical shop and expanded into petrol pumps, property, and manufacturing.

The motive behind the killing is still under investigation, with property dispute being seen as a possible angle.
