Google Pixel 7a rumoured launch date leaked. Check design, colour options

Believe it or not, Google has been selling phones for more than 13 years now - however, it was in 2016 that the search engine began manufacturing its handsets and that's how Google Pixel created a space for itself in the market.

Google's latest Pixel 7 and 7 Pro remain the company's best-selling phones, joined by Pixel 6a. Similarly, to go with the legacy, Google is reported to launch Pixel 7a during the Google I/O 2023 event, which is slated to take place on May 10, 2023.

According to leaked renders posted by MySmartPrice, the upcoming Google Pixel 7a will likely have a dual rear camera setup and a centrally-aligned single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.


The device is expected to come in White, Grey, and Blue colour options and will have a design similar to the Google Pixel 6a, with a metal frame visible from the antenna linings. However, the front of the device will have sizable bezels all around, at least according to the renders.

On the spec side, it is expected to flaunt a 6.1-inch OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate support. The all-new Tensor G2 chip will likely power it. Further, it is said to offer a 64MP Sony IMX787 lens and a 12MP ultra-wide lens on the rear and a 10.8 MP front camera for selfies and video chats. Like, all the latest offerings, Pixel 7a is also likely to run Android 13.
