What makes the Fitbit Air stand out is what it does not have. There is no screen, no buttons, nothing to tap or swipe. Every reading, from heart rate to sleep stages, lands quietly inside the Google Health app on the phone, so the tracker on the wrist stays out of the way while the data does the talking.
Google Fitbit Air Price In India
The Fitbit Air costs ₹13,999 in India, and every unit comes bundled with a three month trial of Google Health Premium. That trial unlocks the full Google Health Coach experience from day one, though buyers will have to pay for the subscription once the free period runs out.
Google Fitbit Air Launch Date And Availability
Sales begin on October 2 through the Google Store and Google's retail partners across India. The company had confirmed the India launch back in August at the Pixel 11 event, without sharing a price at the time.

Google Fitbit Air Health Tracking Features
The sensor stack covers 24/7 heart rate, heart rhythm monitoring with Afib alerts, SpO2, resting heart rate and heart rate variability. All of this gets pushed to the Google Health Coach, which turns the raw numbers into readable, personalised suggestions rather than just charts.

Sleep stages and sleep duration are tracked overnight, and Google is positioning the Fitbit Air as a natural partner for Pixel Watch owners, worn during the day for notifications and swapped out for the lighter Fitbit Air at bedtime so sleep data does not get missed.
Battery life is rated at up to a week on a single charge, and five minutes on the charger is enough for a full day of use. That kind of charging speed matters a lot for a device meant to stay on the wrist through sleep every single night.

The tracker works with Android 11 or higher and iOS 16.4 or higher, and setup needs a Google Account along with the Google Health app, so both Android and iPhone owners in India can use it.
Google Fitbit Air Rivals In India
The Fitbit Air is not walking into an empty category. Noise launched its REP Band earlier this year at ₹9,999, tracking heart rate, HRV, sleep and SpO2 without asking for any subscription at all. Amazfit's Helio Strap undercuts both at ₹8,999, backed by a 10 day battery and the same no subscription pitch through the Zepp app. Whoop, the brand that popularised this screenless category, is still not officially sold in India, and unofficial units go for close to ₹28,000 along with a mandatory yearly subscription to use any of its features.
Against that lineup, the Fitbit Air sits at the top end on price among the official India launches, and its three month free trial only delays the subscription question rather than solving it. What it does have going for it is the Google Health ecosystem tying it to the Pixel Watch, something none of the rivals can match for someone already inside Google's setup.
