Google features allow you to schedule a trip; Here's how

Have you ever used Google Maps while you are travelling or to know the correct route to a place you wish to visit? Or maybe to look for a place that you have not been to yet?

If you never used Google Maps yet, you should know that this app can be used to explore multiple places, create lists, share experiences, add information about a certain place, add reviews, fix incorrect or incomplete information about places and much more.

An internet connection is generally required to use Google Maps. However, you can use offline maps in a car if you have a poor internet connection for navigation and safety features. Maps can automatically be downloaded and updated depending on your location and travel pattern.


Here are some of the useful Google Maps features

1. You can improve Google Maps experience for others by sharing reviews and photos for a certain location.

2. You can make a list of places you want to visit by saving them and thus access them quickly when needed.

3. You can share your location in real time in order to meet them or let them find you.

4. Save or download maps to your phone if you plan to go offline or visit an area with poor internet connection.

5. Google Maps lets you customize your route preferences when you navigate to a location.

6. Calculate the distance between two or more points on a map.

7. Using latitude and longitude, you can either find a place or even get the coordinates of one that you've already found.

Google Maps allows you to plan future trips as well. This is how you do it.

From your computer or mobile device, you can select the time you want to start driving or when you want to reach your destination. Traffic and transit schedules for your planned travel time are used to estimate the travel time for your trip. It should be noted that you can only schedule a trip if you have one destination, and it is available only for Driving and Transit.
