As reported by the New York Post, Elly was fired following a dispute with another employee over espresso shots. The disagreement escalated, leading to a confrontation with the managers. In the video, two managers can be seen attempting to prevent Elly from accessing the back of the store, while she insisted they "give me my stuff."
The situation intensified when Elly grabbed a chair, attempting to throw it before one of the managers intervened. Subsequently, she charged at the manager, resulting in her being thrown to the ground.
The video continued to capture Elly walking away before abruptly changing course and jumping over the counter. In her attempt to flee the store with her belongings, she tripped and fell to the ground. The incident prompted the intervention of Atlanta Police officers, although Elly had already left the scene by their arrival.
According to the police report, Elly was officially "terminated from her position," and airport security confiscated her badge. The report stated, "All parties were issued a case number and a time frame in which they can obtain a copy of this report; nothing further to report at this time." Notably, officials have not levied any charges against Elly in connection with the incident.
This disruptive incident at the Atlanta airport coffee shop remains under investigation, with the video circulating on social media platforms, drawing attention to the clash between the terminated employee and her managers.
