In a shocking development for daily soap lovers, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin (GHKPM) actor Aishwarya Sharma has quit the show. Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin on Star Plus is a very popular daily soap starring Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma and Ayesha Singh in the lead.

Why is Aishwarya Sharma quitting Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin?

While speaking exclusively to The Times of India, Aishwarya Sharma has confirmed that she is quitting Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.

"Just like all good things, even my association with the show has come to an end. While Pakhi’s journey has ended, Aishwarya is taking a bag full of memories with her because this show has given me almost everything. I feel indebted to GHKPM, as it has given me more than I had expected. I feel it’s time to explore new opportunities," she told ETimes in an interview.

Neil Bhatt’s emotional post after Aishwarya Sharma quit GHKPM:

Incidentally, Aishwarya is the wife of Neil in real life. The two fell in love on the sets of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin itself, and got married in November 2021.

"I will definitely miss shooting with my favourite co-star and my husband Neil the most. I don’t know whether I will get to work with him ever again. Yeh show mere liye hi bana tha because I got the most precious thing of my life-my life partner Neil. I am grateful to my producers and the unit of the show," she said wistfully.

Neil posted a photo with Aishwarya on Instagram of their first shot together, as he wrote, "First shot of #ghumhaikisikeypyaarmeiin that we gave ! The beginning that we didn’t know it would give us it’s no secret I’ll miss working with you bache but I’m happy and hopeful for your future…my feelings are indescribable, god bless you my love and just do what you do best “ENTERTAIN” my lifetime subscription of fun, laughter and love @aisharma812 ".

Aishwarya has reacted to his sweet post, saying, "Awww don’t make me emotional again and again .. only because of you I was getting emotional bcuz you were crying.. and you the most precious and beautiful thing happened to me in this show my love .. we joined the show separately and coming our home together.. what’s better then that .. I really thank god for everything especially you. No doubt we were meant to be together.. In real “hum Kho gaye ek dusare ke pyaar mein” love you."

About her quitting, Aishwarya said that "Nothing remains forever." The actor feels that an artiste has to keep trying different and challenging characters.
