Gay couple gets married in Kolkata; pictures take internet by storm

Abhishek Ray and Chaitanya Sharma, a gay couple from Kolkata, just made it official by tying the knot in an intimate ceremony with their family and friends. The ceremony was held on Sunday, 3rd July. The couple were dressed in their choice of traditional attire, Ray was in a traditional Bengali wedding attire of dhoti-kurta while Sharma wore a sherwani.

The color coordination of the wedding added to the glamor of the wedding. The pictures from their dreamy wedding took the internet by storm and people couldn’t stop showering love on the beautiful couple. Abhishek Ray works as a fashion designer and Chaitanya Sharma is a Gurgaon-based digital marketeer. The photos of their wedding ceremony like Haldi are making rounds on Instagram.

Their wedding planner put the reel on Instagram which gave everyone a peek into their wedding festivities. The reel has more than a thousand views. Earlier a gay couple from Hyderabad solemnized their marriage which may be the first same-sex marriage for the state of Telangana. The couple Abhay Dange and Supriyo Chakraborty dated for eight years before finally tying the knot with the blessings of their family and in the presence of their friends.
