GATE 2026 Eligibility Criteria (Based on 2025 Guidelines)

• Nationality: Open to Indian citizens and candidates from Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Ethiopia, and the UAE.
• Education: Applicants must be in the third year or higher of an undergraduate degree (B.Tech/B.E./B.Arch/B.Sc./B.Pharm) or have completed a recognized degree in Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture, or Humanities. Final-year students of MSc, MA, MCA, or equivalent programs are also eligible.
• Age Limit: There is no upper age limit to appear for GATE.
