GATE 2023: Last date to register with late fee today; apply now

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur will close the window for applying online for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2023) today, October 16. Applicants can register on the official website for GATE 2023 at gate.iitk.ac.in.

Those who have not registered yet can apply today by paying an additional late registration fee. A candidate currently studying in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program or has already completed any government approved degree program in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts can apply for GATE 2023.

The IIT Kanpur will conduct the GATE 2023 exam on February 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2023, while the admit card will be made available on January 3, 2023. The answer key for GATE 2023 will be released on February 21. The GATE 2023 result will be announced on March 16. Candidates can appear either in one or up to two papers of the GATE 2023 examination. The exam will be conducted for a total of 100 marks. There are two categories of papers: General Aptitude (GA) is common for all papers with 15 marks weightable, while the rest of the paper includes the respective syllabus with 85 marks.

• Preview the filled GATE application form 2023
• Submit the GATE 2022 application form

SC / ST / PwD* category candidates (per paper): Rs 1,350
All other candidates including foreign nationals (per paper): Rs 2,200
