Ganga Dussehra is being celebrated today, May 25, 2026. One of the most prominent Hindu festivals, Ganga Dusshera, is celebrated with great enthusiasm, devotion and fervour. According to Hindu Sanatan Dharma, Ganga Dussehra is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Goddess Ganga. It is believed that on this auspicious day of Ganga Dussehra, she descended on earth and is celebrated on Dashami Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Jyeshtha.
