At the heart of the festivities, the City Centre’s Ganesh Puja pandal, meticulously designed after the iconic Burj Khalifa, soared to an impressive height of 121 feet. Simultaneously, the Mazdoor Maidan Ganesh Puja pandal replicated the majestic architecture of the Akshardham Temple.
Adding to the allure, the City Centre pandal showcased a magnificent 28-foot-high idol of Lord Ganpati, further enchanting the devotees. Manish Kumar, one of the organizers of the Mazdoor Maidan Puja, shared, “The Ganapati’s idol stands tall at 16 feet and has been meticulously crafted by skilled artisans hailing from Kolkata. Alongside the pandal, a vibrant fair was organized to enhance the festive atmosphere.”
Dabbu Singh, the President of the Ganesh Mandali Traders’ Association at City Centre, proudly noted, “We have proudly installed a towering 28-foot idol of Lord Ganesha, which has become a focal point of our celebrations.”
To bring the Burj Khalifa-inspired design to life, a proficient team of artisans from West Bengal was entrusted with the construction of the pandal. Additionally, experts from Kolkata lent their expertise in adorning the pandal with intricate decorations and brilliant lighting.
Ganesh Chaturthi, one of the most revered festivals in India, will be observed from September 19 to September 28, and the breathtaking pandals in Bokaro promise to make this year's celebrations truly memorable.
