Acclaimed filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi is ready to make a comeback as a director after a nine-year sabbatical with his next film ‘‘Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh’. Widely known for his groundbreaking cinematic contributions to Indian cinema, the director is set to deliver another jaw-dropping film based on the ideology of Mahatma Gandhi and Nathuram Godse. The director unveiled the Motionunveiled Motion poster for his upcoming film which will be released on January 26, 2023.

From ‘‘Andaz Apna Apna’’ to ‘‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’, Rajkumar Santoshi has mastered the art of bringing the best content to the big screen. The director, who is set to make a comeback to the screen with his next film ‘Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh’, has unveiled a mesmerising motion poster.

The video depicts the ideological warfare between Mahatma Gandhi and Nathuram Godse, which arouses the curiosity of viewers watching the film. The role of Mahatma Gandhi is played by the very talented Deepak Anthani, while Chinmay Mandlekar plays Nathuram Godse in the film. It also includes other notable figures in history, including former Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.


The film also includes actors Tanisha Santoshi, Anuj Saini, Pawan Chopra, Sharad Singh and many more as supporting actors.

‘Gandhi-Godse Ek Yudh’’ was written by Asghar Wajahat and Rajkumar Santoshi. The film was funded by Santoshi Productions LLP and is a PVR Pictures release. This next film will feature Oscar- and Grammy-winning composer A.R. Rahman. ‘Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh’ will hit theatres on Republic Day, January 26, 2023.
