The poster features Sunny, who seems powerful with a black pathani kurta and salwar. However, this time he abandons the handpump and clutches a hammer with the same familiar fury in his eyes, while backdrop images of devastation and burned automobiles are visible.

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel-starring film, which in 2001 faced off against Aamir Khan's "Lagaan," will now face off against Ranbir Kapoor's "Animal" during the Independence Day weekend.

Speaking about the film, director and producer Anil Sharma stated that it means more to him than merely a movie. He claimed that "Gadar: Ek Prem Katha" had fundamentally altered the Indian cinema industry's paradigm and had grown to become a cult classic where Tara Singh and Sakina's love story was lived to the fullest.

Sunny Deol added to it by saying that "Gadar" has played a significant role in both his personal and professional life. He continued by saying that Tara Singh from Gadar is more than just a protagonist and has evolved into a cult figure.
