How It All Started
Hajrat, who hails from Uttar Pradesh, said he decided to join Uber after a friend encouraged him, saying the platform offers “good work”.“I worked in a sewing company for three years. After that, I got a car through a friend,” he said, further adding that he is not educated and didn't know how to manage working with Uber. “You have to check locations and all,” he said.
However, his friend reassured him that the job was manageable. “If you keep working slowly, you will learn with experience,” his friend told him.
50,000 Trips and Peak Monthly Earnings
Sharing his milestone, Hajrat said, “I have completed 50,0000 trips. My highest earnings for one month were Rs 1,20,000,” he said in the video.He also praised the platform’s navigation system, stating, “Uber's location system works perfectly. Other companies are not as good.”
