A content creator has shared an inspiring milestone from his journey after receiving an invitation to an exclusive Google event, years after giving up on his childhood ambition of studying at IIT and eventually working for the tech company.

Bhavishya Raghav shared a series of pictures on Instagram from his visit to a Google office, reflecting on how his career took an unexpected route.

He Once Dreamed Of Studying At IIT And Working At Google

Looking back at his school days, Raghav recalled the ambitions he had as a student and the expectations his family had for him.

“When I was in 11th grade, I had a dream. My family’s dream, actually — study hard, get into IIT, do well there, and someday get a job at Google.”

However, his plans did not unfold as expected. He could not get into IIT and eventually stopped believing that a career at Google was possible.

“I couldn’t make it to IIT. And somewhere along the way, I quietly let that dream go. I thought, ‘Google? That’s probably not for me.’”

From Content Creation To A Google Invitation

Instead of following the path he had originally imagined, Raghav began creating content.

“But life had a different plan. I started creating content. I kept learning, kept working, kept showing up — and today, I got invited by Google themselves to an exclusive launch event for the Google Pixel 11 Series,” he wrote.

‘A Completely Different’ Route To Google

Reflecting on the significance of the moment, Raghav said that although he did not reach Google through the traditional path he had envisioned as a teenager, he ultimately created his own route there.

“I didn’t enter Google through the door I once imagined. I entered through a completely different one — one that I built for myself. Sometimes, a dream doesn’t die. It just takes a different route!”
