French daredevil Remi Lucidi tragically falls to his death: A glimpse into the world of extreme stunts

Remi Lucidi, a 30-year-old French daredevil renowned for his death-defying stunts in extreme sports, met his untimely demise after a harrowing fall from the 68-story Tregunter Tower complex in Hong Kong.

The South China Morning Post reported that Lucidi was scaling the imposing building when the fatal incident occurred. Despite immediate attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses claim that he had become trapped outside the penthouse on the top floor, where he desperately knocked on a window, startling a maid who was present inside.

Reports indicate that Lucidi tragically lost his footing, leading to the fatal plunge that ended his life. Hong Kong officials revealed that he was spotted at the building around 6 pm, claiming to visit a friend residing on the 40th floor. Alas, it was later confirmed that he was not acquainted with the alleged friend, and despite the security guard's attempt to prevent his entry, Lucidi managed to enter the elevator.


CCTV footage captured Lucidi's journey through the building, reaching as high as the 49th floor before continuing on foot to the rooftop. Notably, the hatch leading to the roof was found open, but he was nowhere to be seen at that time.

A significant development in the timeline revealed that at 7.38 pm, Lucidi was spotted alive, tapping on the window of the penthouse. This action prompted a concerned maid to contact the police for help. Unfortunately, he remained trapped outside the penthouse, desperately seeking assistance before tragically losing his balance.

Authorities discovered Lucidi's camera at the scene, which contained videos showcasing his daring high-rise stunts, shedding light on the fearless life he led.

As of now, the police have not released an official cause of death, leaving speculation and questions surrounding this devastating incident.
