French brand unveils limited edition ‘Mini Meteorite Swipe Bag’ made of real meteorites; Here’s the price

Coperni, a French luxury brand, recently released a limited edition purse made of meteorites, ‘Mini Meteorite Swipe Bag’ bringing the phrase “out of this world” to life. The limited edition dark grey stone bag with an embedded meteorite costs 40,000 euros or Rs 35 lakh.

According to the brand, meteorites will be uniquely sourced for each transaction and may come from various regions depending on where the meteorite fell on Earth.

The tiny Meteorite Swipe Bag weighs around 1.8kg and stands about 23 cm tall when delivered, and it comes with an authenticity certificate.


“As part of the Fall / Winter 23, Coperni has exclusively designed the small “Meteorite Swipe bag”. A one-of-a-kind artefact that blends archaeology, design, and classical and primitive art. The captured meteorite is estimated to have fallen on Earth 55,000 years ago and has been declared 100% real by Theatrum Mundi”, stated the brand’s website.
