For first time, Andhra Pradesh government provides ‘betterment opportunity’ for SSC students
The School Education Department of Andhra Pradesh has initiated to offer a betterment opportunity for students of SSC 2022 to improve their marks. Check out the eligibility and other details here.

D Devananda Reddy, the State's Director of Examinations, made this announcement. Earlier, the government initiated to conduct examinations for the unsuccessful students next months as the percentage of successful candidates was the lowest in two decades.
The candidates who successfully passed the SSC Public Examination in April 2022 and received less than 50 percent of marks in one subject can apply and appear for the Betterment Exam. Each student can choose a maximum of two subjects for the SSC Advanced Supplementary Examination. The schedule of the examinations remains the same as mentioned earlier – July 6 to July 15.
The Director of Government Examinations also added that the fee for the Betterment Examination is ₹500 per subject. The fee needs to be paid during the time of application submission. This exceptional opportunity can be availed from the respective school logins from June 16 to June 19, 2022. Students who want to avail this opportunity are requested to approach their headmaster of the school.
Meanwhile, CM YS Jogan Mohan Reddy clearly stated that the low percentage of Class 10 results was not a mistake. Since the aim of education is to offer equal educational opportunity, the government is trying to provide the opportunity for the failed students to appear in the advanced supplement examination in July.
