A fight between two passengers broke out mid-air aboard a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight travelling from London to Bangladesh, with a video of the incident showing the men exchanging blows inside the aircraft as fellow passengers watched in alarm.

The altercation reportedly began with a heated argument between the two men before escalating into a physical confrontation. The disturbance caused panic among other passengers on board, including children and elderly travellers, according to a report by Dhaka Tribune.

Passengers exchange blows during flight

Footage of the incident, which has circulated widely on social media, shows the two passengers arguing before the dispute turns physical. The men are seen hitting each other during the scuffle, while one passenger’s T-shirt appears to have been torn as the confrontation intensified.


The fight continued inside the cabin until members of the cabin crew and fellow passengers stepped in to intervene. They eventually managed to separate the two men and bring the confrontation under control.

The video also shows other passengers reacting to the disturbance as the fight unfolds inside the confined space of the aircraft.

Airline official says he was unaware of incident

The circumstances that led to the argument were not immediately clear. It was also not known at the time of the report whether the passengers faced any action over the incident.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines General Manager (Public Relations) Mahbubuddin Ahmed told Dhaka Tribune that he was not yet aware of what had happened when contacted. He said he was looking into the matter.
