Emmy 2026 nomination list: 'The Pitt' and 'Hacks' lead; Connor Storrie lands first nomination

Gritty medical drama The Pitt and the comedy Hacks led the nominations for the 2026 Emmy Awards on Wednesday, emerging as the biggest contenders for television's top honours.

The Pitt secured 25 nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series, while Hacks followed closely with 24 nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series.

Among the notable first-time nominees was Connor Storrie, who earned his maiden Emmy nomination, not for his breakout role in Heated Rivalry, but for hosting Saturday Night Live. The 26-year-old actor was nominated in the Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series category.


Heated Rivalry was not eligible for the Emmys because it is an entirely Canadian-financed production. However, Storrie qualified through his appearance on the long-running sketch comedy show. He hosted the February 28 episode of Saturday Night Live, featuring Mumford & Sons as the musical guest, and was joined by his Heated Rivalry co-star Hudson Williams in one of the night's sketches.
